What is Scrapbooking?

I LOVE THIS!!! It is so true...

"You see, the term scrapbooking does not just refer to the assembly of pages. Scrapbooking actually describes an ongoing, multi-dimensional spectrum of activities that begins with an awareness of your life, followed by a desire to photograph and record your day-to-day experiences, ultimately resulting in scrapbook albums that are overflowing with perspective-laden layouts, each of which contributes in some small way to the story of your life and heritage".

You Make My Heart Sing

This is my Make It From The Heart Contest entry that I made on Monday. I'm pretty excited about it...I'd really like $100 in product credit right now! :o) I used some Expedition b&t paper with Autumn Terra Cotta, Chocolate and Cranberry cardstock. I got the idea for the ribbon from a card that my friend/team mate, Katy, shared. I used CTMH's new Dimensional Elements Fresh Shapes and Create-A-Shade Pearl Paint (with Sunflower re-inker).

Thinking of Easter Bunnies already?

Well, I had to create something using CTMH's January Stamp of the Month, Eastertime! I was surfing SCS website and found this darling 4" x 4" accordion card with instructions. I think it turned out pretty cute. I can't wait to share it tomorrow at my scrapbook club gathering.

Baby's 1st Christmas

When I made these pages for my December Scrapbook Club, I knew immediately how wonderful they would look with Bevyn's Christmas dress! As a scrapbooker, I would normally be thinking about what papers would work well with an outfit when picking it out. LOL! But I promise...it never crossed my mind. Only after I made the pages did I realize...Oh my, Bevyn's Christmas dress would be perfect for this page!

I think I scrapbook a little different than most scrapbookers. I make a lot of my pages for my scrapbook club with products in mind and then I look for pictures that will work with the pages. I have my own printer at home, so I can crop and print any size I choose, so it works wonderful with CTMH's Cherish & Imagine how-to books.

Oh, do you remember that movie!?! Well, I'm not here to talk about the movie, but to share with you CTMH's new February Stamp of the Month called Endless Love. I just love it! Especially with the new MRK Silhouette that's now available from the new Spring 2008 Idea Book that went live today!
