Stamp of the Month Blog Hop – It’s Your Day!

I chose to create a birthday layout for my almost two year old! She will actually be turning two on Sunday, August 2nd. We will have her BIG birthday party the following weekend since I am at the Close To My Heart Leadership Conference in Long Beach, CA. I will be returning home late Sunday afternoon and we can have a little family party. I will add pictures and journaling shortly after and share the finished layout then.

Here are some close-ups of each page and some of the elements of the pages…

I paper pieced this birthday cake using the stamp set, then adhered it with foam squares and added some clear craft buttons and colonial white ricrac for embellishment.

For the title, I sponged some monogram chipboard letters with chocolate ink and adhered them with foam squares as well.

Each of the ‘PARTY’ elements were stamped and adhered with foam squares for more dimension.

 

I absolutely LOVE our scrapbook programs! I used a concept out of my Originals  Scrapbook Program called ‘Dynamic Design’ featured on pages 116-117. All I had to do was choose 3 complementing colors of ink and cardstock along with a neutral…I used colonial white here. This layout literally took me less than 1-1/2 hours to make beginning to end!
