More Mojo Monday – You’re Special

I loved this week’s Mojo Monday sketch #105 so much that I decided to create another card using the new CTMH Level 2 Paper Packet, Sweet Home and the exclusive stamp set, Enjoy the Journey, from the Sweet Home Workshop on the Go kit.

The color combination for this creation is Garnet, Buttercup, Indian Corn Blue & Cocoa accented with Colonial White. I really love how this card turned out.

I was inspired to use this stamp set with this card sketch when I saw the circle stamp set that I used to create the scallop border. I did some masking to get the layers I wanted. Oh, just realized this goes along great with the latest CTMH TV webisode – Crossing Borders… Click on the Art & Soul logo to check it out!

Color Me Monday meets Mojo Monday – 9/21

What a way to kill two birds with one stone…combine Jeanette Lynton’s Color Me Monday challenge with the Mojo Monday card sketch challenge! I’m sure I’m not the first to figure that out…but I just did. LOL!

Jeanette’s color combo this week is New England Ivy, Cranberry, Sweet Leaf & Desert Sand…a perfect 1st day of Fall combo!

I dug through my stash of CTMH products looking for papers and accessories in the above colors and finally decided on using a leaf as a focal point from my new Wonder Heartfelt Die-Cuts.

I also used a few other new products from the 2009 Fall/Winter Idea Book & Catalog…Ribbon Rounds Cranberry Collection & the My Acrylix Save the Date stamp set.

Here is a close-up of the Heartfelt Die-Cut leaf that I stitched with Olive Waxy Flax. I also distressed it with Desert Sand ink.

What a wonderful way to bring in Fall 2009!

I used the new Jingle Level 2 Paper Packet along with the new My Acrylix Holiday Trinkets stamp set. I kept the embellishments to a minimum and only used a little bit of Colonial White Organdy Ribbon and Fall/Winter Connection Club Reward Pearl Assortment.
