H2H Challenge – From Your Heart to Ours

Good Monday Morning! Welcome to another Heart 2 Heart Challenge!

We are continuing our journey this week using items/photos to inspire us. Here is my creation for this week’s H2H Challenge – From Your Heart to Ours…

2011-07-09_3265

My inspiration this week came from the below photo that I came across on Pinterest from Two Shades of Pink.

Inspiration Photo 7_11_11(Click on the picture to visit Two Shades of Pink blog)

The banner is what caught my eye at first and then I pulled the white pom poms into my card by adding the white clouds using a flower stamp from the My Acrylix Fill in the Blank stamp set…check out the technique below.

Can you guess what other stamp we used from the My Acrylix Fill in the Blank stamp set? If you guessed “flower,” you’re right! Since our My Acrylix stamps are flexible, we’ve scrunched up the flower stamp in different ways to get these cute cloud images. We stamped them on B&T Duos® paper to give them a subtle pattern.

Please be sure to create a project using mostly Close To My Heart products and then head on over to the Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog and post your creation under the appropriate challenge. Your project may be one of ten chosen for the Top Ten at the end of July and you may even win a prize at the end of the month and an opportunity to be a future Guest Design Team member!

I look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations! God bless,

  1. I love this card. Was it your intention to make it look like a clothes line (banner)? That's what I thought of when I first looked at it. Makes me think of my Grandma's house on a sunny, Summer Saturday (when I was little). Thanks for the fun trip down memory lane. I really, really do like your card. :)

  2. Cute card. I'm a fan of pennant banners, too. I like how you put the tree in with the clouds.
