Today’s shape is the Strawberry featured on pg. 72 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook.
I used the Pear & Partridge Paper Packet to make the strawberries and then I also cut the basket featured on pg. 73 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook using the new Cashmere cardstock. I think it looks perfect for a strawberry box. I distressed the box with Cashmere ink too.

Today I am sharing another cute little 3-D project I created for my Extravaganza booth at Convention this past July. It’s a mini tote bag made with the Pear & Partridge Collection!
This little bag can be found on pg. 79 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook.
I cut a few using both B&T Duos and cardstock and then cut the flaps off of some and paper pieced them together. Add a sentiment stamp or Dimensional Elements In Color – Holiday collection to finish off…with a bit of bling, of course!
These bags were cut at 3” tall.

Today we can feature any shape our heart desires, so I am focusing on the award pennant shape on pg. 55 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook. I started creating my award ribbon by cutting the award pennant shape at 3-1/2” using Cranberry cardstock.
I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut all the circle shapes…the Smoothie cardstock circle (behind the award pennant & under ‘You’re the Best) at 3” & 1-3/4”, the B&T Duo paper at 2-3/4” & the Colonial White cardstock at 1-1/4” using the Pear & Partridge Paper Packet.
I stamped the round award ribbon using Cranberry ink onto the coordinating Dimensional Elements award shape (included in the Cricut Artiste Collection) & layered that onto the B&T Duo paper.
Using the Cricut Artiste Collection My Acrylix ‘Kudos’ stamp set, I stamped one of the circle images onto the 1-3/4” Smoothie cardstock and the ‘You’re the Best’ stamp onto the 1-1/4” Colonial White cardstock.
Several layers are adhered with 3-D Foam Tape to give added dimension and all the pieces were sponged with Chocolate ink. Add Sparkles to bling your ribbon up a bit.
Lastly, I used more of the Dimensional Element banners from the Cricut Artiste Collection for the tails of the award ribbon. Using Chocolate ink, I stamped the banner tail onto the Dimensional Element banner shapes. I then cut a thin strip of Cranberry cardstock & Smoothie ribbon to layer on top of the banner shapes. Again, sponge everything with Chocolate ink and adhere to the back of the award ribbon with Liquid Glass and add a hanger using Baker’s Twine Harvest Assortment.

We are almost to the weekend, so that means the next 3 days are ‘Any Shape’ days! I look forward to these because I can share more of my creations from my Extravaganza booth that I had at the CTMH Convention this past July!
So, I am sharing a fun little project I created using the Advent Box featured on pg. 80 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook.
(Tutorial coming soon)

Today we are playing with the Flower Top Box on pg. 75 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook. I cut my card at 4-1/2”. This measurement is the size it will be when closed. So when it actually makes the cut, it will use almost the entire 12” x 12” sheet.
I am using the beautiful Avonlea collection today. I pulled out the Smokey Plum in the B&T Duo paper and cut the box with Smokey Plum cardstock. I then cut the box again using the B&T Duo paper and then I cut the flaps off and then I cut the flower petals off the flaps and adhered them as shown. I also ink distressed all my papers with Chocolate Ink using a round sponge.
In the below pic you can see that I used our Hook & Loop Dots to adhere the Avonlea Complements Canvas Shape to the flower. This is so it can easily be removed when you open the card and it doesn’t tear the card up. Hint: Put a little baby powder on the back the canvas shape to take the sticky off so it doesn’t stick to the flower petals.
Here is the box open with a stamped message from the My Acrylix ‘A Friend Like You’ stamp set…stamped in chocolate. The inside shape is also on the Cricut Artiste cartridge on pg. 56 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook. I cut the Smokey Plum cardstock at 4-1/4” and the Colonial White cardstock at 4”. The Avonlea B&T Duo paper on the inside is what was left when I cut the flaps off to adhere to the front of the box!
These fun shaped cards can be a little tricky to close, so I thought I’d share a picture tutorial with you to help explain it. Once you get the hang of it, you will be burning up your Cricut machine to make more!
You can see below that you have to start slipping the 4th flap underneath the petals.
The last flap is the trickest! You will have to slip the entire left side under the 5th flap & petal as shown below.
Viola! This is how it should look before putting the canvas shape on.
