Mr and Mrs…Finally

Today I attended my friend and fellow Close To My Heart consultant, Katy Donaldson’s bridal shower. She is ‘finally’ getting married!

Katy is one of the most creative women I know. I have had the pleasure of teaching at Convention with her twice and so of course, once she got engaged…the planning began for the wedding and she has been working none stop on ‘Save the Date’ cards and her wedding invitations. Her colors are Cocoa, Sweet Leaf & Colonial White. So…I decided I would use her wedding colors and some ideas from her wedding invitations to create a card for her today.

When I got to the shower today, this was on the coffee table at the front door…

This is a canvas that another friend and fellow Close To My Heart consultant, Sylvia Williams created for Katy. She used the wedding invitation that Katy created. Katy also made the beautiful silk flowers. It is absolutely gorgeous in person! What a beautiful keepsake.

The stamp set featured on my card and Katy’s wedding invitation is a past Stamp of the Month called Friendship.

If you are interested in purchasing this stamp set, contact me as I have two extra for sale for $20 (shipping included).

Have a blessed day and make it from your heart,
