September 2011 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!!

Wow…I seriously can not believe we are heading into September already!?! With the end of summer and the kids going back to school and everything in between, I think I lost some days somewhere!

Anyhow…let’s get this party started!!!

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

This month we are featuring the September SOTM from the NEW 2011 Autumn/Winter Idea Book, which is S1109 Limited Edition, a set of 21 My Acrylix Stamps. I’m really excited with what I have to share with you this month! I’ve been working on a display board swap and this is one of the projects I created last night. I was inspired by a fellow CTMH Consultant, Nikka Geers and a swap project of hers I saw on another consultant’s website.

For my project, I turned it into an invitation for a Christmas party. I’m thinking you could also glue a gift card to the tag…it’s just the right size!

This darling project is created with a pillow box (5-1/2”) and tag (3-3/4”) that I cut from my exclusive Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. I don’t know how I lived without this cartridge all my life!

As you can see, I trimmed out the pillow box flaps on the front of the pillow box. I used the Elemental Workshops on the Go Kit along with the My Acrylix Vintage Type stamp set and some Natural Hemp and Mini-Medley Accents Pewter Collection.
