I’ve been wondering what I will do this year to challenge myself since my time with the Heart 2 Heart Challenges Design Team has come to an end. There are many challenge blogs out there today, but it can get overwhelming sometimes and that is one thing I do my best to avoid these days.
So for now, I am choosing to participate in the Mojo Monday weekly card sketch challenges along with the weekly Heart 2 Heart challenges…when I can.
First up is this week’s Mojo Monday card sketch #224…
(Click on the sketch to visit this week’s challenge post)
I’ve been itching to play with some of my NEW CTMH products from the upcoming 2012 Spring/Summer Idea Book available to customers February 1, 2012. Let me know if you’d like a copy (you only pay shipping) or you can view it online beginning February 1, 2012.
I’m already seeing some stunning artwork from fellow consultants and one of the new kits that seems to be a favorite is called Pemberley. So, I decided to use it for my creation today.
Isn’t it just lovely? The color combination consists of Indian Corn Blue, Outdoor Denim, Honey, Desert Sand, Bamboo & Colonial White. The paper flower was created using CTMH’s exclusive Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge <Flower8> featured on pg 50 of the Cricut AP booklet. I cut two flowers in sizes of 2-1/4” & 2”. All papers were sponged with Desert Sand ink. The center embellishment are CTMH’s new Pewter Badge Buttons…just peel the backing off and stick.
To achieve the dimension on the flower, I used 3D Foam tape between each petal and also underneath the flower to pop it off the card.
I’m looking forward to my next challenge and playing with more new products!
Thank you for stopping by!
