I’ve been dying to create the Pie Box on pg. 70 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook! So happy that it is our featured project today.

I immediately thought of using the *NEW* La Belle Vie collection for this project. It’s so perfectly feminine…for a birthday or wedding!

This paper flower was also created using the Cricut Artiste Collection. The image is featured on pg. 54 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook and I cut my flower at 6” to get a flower approximately 2-1/4”.

I embellished the box with Opaques Pearl Adhesive Gems, Opaques Pearl Flourishes and Colonial White Rosette Ribbon.

I learned at the CTMH Convention this past July, that you can roll the flowers easily using a quilling tool. Well, I just so happened to have one that I bought a bazillion years ago at a weekend scrapbook retreat. I haven’t used it in years and never would have thought to use it for my paper flowers…brilliant I say! CTMH will be selling one this Fall, so I’ll be sure to let you know when it becomes available.

Once you’ve rolled up your flower, add a dabble of Liquid Glass to the base, let your flower loose so it will fluff out some and then gently press the petals down to adhere…holding for a minute or two.

This is what you should have once dry.

I curled the petals some to give the flower a more natural look and then added some Colonial White Rosette Ribbon buds around the paper flower.
