Father's Day 2008

Wow! I hadn't realized that it's been almost two weeks since my last post and even longer since I've shared some of my artwork. My apologies for being a blogger flake. LOL!

I have been quite busy over the last few weeks with my monthly scrapbook club gatherings and creating for the upcoming months. I'll share a little preview with you...but you will have to wait until mid July to see the completed projects. Ü

We are using the Close To My Heart My Reflections Kit, Blue Ribbon for the month of July and some 'secret' supplies we haven't tried before. Can you guess what they are?

Alright...that really is all I can share on that note. Contact me if you'd like to join us in July and I'd be happy to show you how to create four stunning layouts in just a few hours.

Ok, onto other stuff!

I spent most of Saturday creating for Father's Day...cards and gifts. I created the below card for both my father and my father-in-law using the Close To My Heart My Reflections Kit, Game On. I used the paper packet and the My Stickease assortment with the Essentials Alphabet stamp set and upcoming August Stamp of the Month, Today's Date. Throw in a little twill, black ribbon and eyelets and viola!

Then it was time to create a special gift for my dh and father of our 3 beautiful children. I used Close To My Heart's new My Creations Display Album. Oh my goodness! I love this gift idea! It will make awesome gifts at Christmas time. I used the My Reflections Level 2 Paper Packet, Sarsaparilla with a variety of Dimensional Elements Close To My Heart carries. I got the album cover idea from a CTMH Ad featured in magazines and the inside 6" x 6" layouts were inspired by a fellow consultant. There's a lots to look at...so enjoy!
