Another exciting day filled with so many wonderful events! This morning we heard from network marketing superstar Mary Christensen about the power of women & direct sales. It was fabulous as always…you just gotta love her New Zealand accent and enthusiasm!
(Oh, I forgot to grab my camera every time we went back to the hotel room today. Sorry for the lack of photos (a few at the end). I will be getting some copies to share from my roomies once we get back to Texas.)
After general session, we made a stop by the photo booth and got some silly pictures taken together. Then we checked out all the beautiful albums on display for the Picture This Album Contest. Our next stop was at the Silent Auction where we saw all the incredible works of art created by many talented consultants, the Art Studio at CTMH and a special scrapbook layout by Jeanette Lynton. All the money raised will go towards the wonderful charity we support, Operation Smile.
After lunch, we went to a few business classes to learn more about the amazing new features of Studio J and how to market my CTMH business like a superstar.
Then finally we made it to Create & Take and created a few gorgeous handmade cards using ALL new products from the 2010 Fall/Winter Idea Book!
Before heading to the evenings Awards Gala, we had a little dinner in the sports bar down in the Atrium. I had a wonderful crab cake burger…yum!!!
One problem, after stuffing myself, I had to go to the hotel room and put on a dress for the Awards Gala. Ugh! Not one of my favorite things to do. LOL!
However, we had the best time celebrating everyone’s achievements. We have an incredibly talented group of consultants in our company and it is always very motivational to hear of all their amazing accomplishments. Congratulations to all the winners for all of their hard work!!!
During the Awards Gala, the awesome & talented Joe Schmidt performed. He is just amazing on the piano, so is his partner that plays the Cello.
Upon leaving the Awards Gala, we were presented with yet another goodie…a new My Acrylix Stamp Set!!!
I was so happy I danced all the way to the hotel room! Ok, not really, but I did start dancing in the room when Katy started playing Jon Schmidt’s CD on my laptop. Love it!
Then one of us got some hair-brained idea to start working on our Create & Take projects for tomorrow! We wanted to get a head start on the beautiful layouts using our new 12” Flip Flaps!
Ok, not really sure I’ve ever scrapped in bed, but there is always a first for everything!
Hmmm…where is Sylvia going to sleep tonight!?!
One more day left of the CTMH Convention. It’s been a blast so far and I can not wait to find out where convention will be next year & to hear my named called out tomorrow as one of the winner’s of the Scrapbook Spa Getaway in SLC!
{{{thinking good thoughts…thinking good thoughts}}}
Sleep tight and chat with ya tomorrow!
looks like there's a lot of fun going on!!
