The Close To My Heart Convention officially began this morning at 9a with Opening Session! Imagine over 1,000 consultants that love scrapbooking & stamping…all in one room! It’s the biggest party of the year!!!
Upon entering the convention hall, you will find a plethora of consultants from all backgrounds excitingly buzzing around connecting with old friends while making new friends along the way. It’s definitely one of my very favorite events each year.
Pictured above is the wonderful Stampers from the Heart team in attendance this year (Katy, Sylvia, Pamela, Gloria & Judy).
CTMH Corporate out did themselves with so many wonderful new product reveals along with the darling skits they came up with to share them with us all. I can’t even begin to imagine how much fun it must be to work at the corporate office!
In The Gathering Bunch skit, CTMH shared that in the very near future, you will be able to host online gatherings & you will earn more rewards for being a hostess! How stinkin’ cool is that!
Then the perky Kristine Widtfeldt came out and did an info commercial and unveiled our new Summer Color Palette! We have 8 fresh new colors of ink & cardstock! Wowzers!
In The Apprentice, Jeanette Lynton, played Donald Trump…hair piece/comb over and all! ROFL! It was hilarious! Our new embellishments were unveiled at great low prices and they are all super cute!
Next up on the tube, was a spoof on Trading Places. Kristine & Brian helped two troubled scrappers with their projects, by using the Workshop on the Go Kits & and new 4” x 12” , 6” x 12” & 8” x 12” Flip Flaps! Incredible!!!
Jeanette & Monica then decided it was time to watch the Ellen Degeneres Show (CTMH Style). More wonderful news about Studio J were revealed and we are going to be learning everything over the next few days through some business classes that are scheduled on Friday & Saturday.
During an episode of Desperate Scrappers, a new scrapbook how-to program called Magic was revealed, which includes interactive elements galore!
Oh my goodness! Look who one a copy of Magic!!!
Last but not least, some of the ladies at corporate performed a dance to Single Ladies by Beyonce, but it was all the Scrappin’ Ladies. There were a lot of great moves up on that stage! ;O) Go Corp!
After lunch, it was time for Extravaganza! I was chosen as 1 out of 32 instructors to teach a class this year! Above you can find me in front of my booth preparing to begin class. See my name in lights!?! I taught on our new darling Mix & Mingle Mini Album…lots of fun things you can do with this new product! I can’t wait to show you.
Just a few more projects I shared during my presentation called Mix, Mingle & Marvelous.
Whew! What an amazing day it has been. I am completely wiped out (again) and better get some good rest this evening. We have two more incredible days to go!
