Today we are featuring the Gable Box on pg. 37 of the Cricut Artiste Handbook.
I used the *NEW* Dakota Collection from the 2012 Autumn/Winter Idea Book. This rustic collection features some great colors including Barn Red, Pacifica, Black and a new color, Whisper.
I cut my gable box at 4-1/2” using a B&T Duo sheet from the paper packet and then trimmed it with the zip strip and some black cardstock that I sanded. I added a badge from the Wrangler Assortment and some grey baker’s twine.
The 3” x 3” card was made using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge (pg. 51) and the *NEW* My Acrylix ‘Casual Expressions’ stamp set. The stamped image is in Barn Red ink. I did some sanding distressing on the black cardstock again and added more grey baker’s twine.
