So, it's time to start thinking about making your Christmas cards! I started working on some last weekend, thinking I'd use them for an upcoming Christmas cards workshop. However, I decided to go with some a little different for the workshop, so I think one of these will probably be our family Christmas card this year.
I've been thinking about making this card for a while now. I'm so happy I finally got around to creating it! It was a fun card to make because I love to emboss, but I don't do it very often for whatever reason. I used CTMH's Simple Pleasures paper packet along with some Cocoa CS. The scallop border was made using SU!'s scallop border punch. Can you see the shine of the letters below? I love it!
Now the below card is CASE'd from a swap card I received. I used a different paper packet, CTMH's Perfect Day. The scalloped border is made using my rectangle nestibilities.
I really love all the texture on this card...the scallop border, the paper piercing and that huge star from CTMH's Shining Star stamp set.
And lo and behold, here's my own creation using CTMH's Evensong Creative Basics paper kit along with CTMH's Evergreen stamp set. Love these tress! :O)
Not sure the pictures do justice to this card. I added prisma glitter to the flourishes on the tree to bling it up some.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful first week of November...don't forget to set your clock back one hour for Day Light Savings Time!
God bless! Pamela
Beautiful cards...love all the extras you did to all of your cards~ The Tree card is my favorite. I might just have to scraplift that card for my card class.
