Woohoo! It’s another Stamp of the Month Blog Hop and it’s going to be a dozy…all because we have a brand-new Autumn/Winter Idea Book filled with so many amazing new products…like the exclusive Close To My Heart Cricut Cartridge! Oh, be sure to check out the newly updated Stamp of the Month program (details at the end of this post).

I can’t wait to see what all the other hoppers create with all our new products…so, without further ado…

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

S1108-1

This month we are featuring the August SOTM from the NEW 2011 Autumn/Winter Idea Book, which is S1108 Wicked, a set of 9 My Acrylix Stamps. If you have come here from Melinda's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.

This month we have over 60 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. To join in the fun just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I decided that I wanted to find a way to use the darling Halloween stamp set in a non-traditional way so that I could show you how to use for other times of the year. I think some of the sentiments in this set would work perfect for graduation, new job, or any type of achievement someone you love earns.

So, I chose to create a Chinese take-out box from the new CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy Collection and the Mischief Level 2 Paper Packet.

I was inspired by fellow consultant, Debi Barber, and her Heart 2 Heart Challenge creation that you will see on August 1st. We are on the design team together and I’ve already gotten a sneak peek. =)

I created a paper bow using the new Mischief B&T Duos Paper…love it…our new paper is heavier weight now and beautiful!!!

So, the box, paper rose and card are all cut using the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

  13. What a beautiful set of projects!! The ribbon is just gorgeous! Do you think it was harder to bend into shape than the lighter B&T? Just wondering....
