You Color My World

I’ve always wanted to create one of the cute little albums that Stacey Julian made called Colorful You and I finally had the to opportunity to do it. I made something similar to show as a sample for a workshop proposal I am doing in July for the school district’s special education camp. I’m really excited for the opportunity to share my love of scrapbooking with them all.

I chose to use Close To My Heart’s new 3-Ring Binder w/5 dividers in it along with the Animal Cookies Level 1 Scrapbook Kit. I used instructions from Chris Green to cut the premade layouts into 5” x 7” pieces that fit perfectly over the dividers. I included a few accessories…White Daisy Ricrac Ribbon and Summer Craft Buttons with Sunflower Waxy Flax.

I created the title with My Stickease and My Acrylix Stamps. I love how it turned out.

For the workshop I will be teaching, I will be printing off a title for the front and some quotes about friendship to insert inside along with some pictures of the students through out their week at camp. I thought it best not to do any stamping as the skill level will be varied and it would be quite time consuming with so many students.

Here is a view of the inside…

I will share more soon when I get my sample back and I have the chance to add my own pictures to this project.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
